By default, iDevice is saving pictures in .heic format, instead .jpeg. If this photo is sent to someone with Windows or Android, if receiver has no additional plug ins, will not be able to see them.
To change it, go to Settings > Camera > Formats, and then choose:
Most Compatible – for .jpeg
Most Efficiency – for .heic
